Polluks Fishing Company, Ltd

The history of our company is not ordinary.

First of all because it is a family company. It’s patriarchy was one of most famous fisherman of the Far East, who set a world record in fish catch that has not been broken yet, — Anatoliy Andreyevich Ponomarev from the legendary BMRT "Seroglazka".

Establishing "Polluks" we went along the historic way again that Kamchatka’s fish industry had followed for one hundred years of its existence. Having started with setting up of coastal centers for salmon fishing on the eastern coast of the Kamchatka Peninsular, we gradually enhanced productive capacity and commenced on active sea fisheries.

Valentina Bronevich, the governor of the Koryak Autonomous Okrug, gave her blessing to our work at sea. It was she, who believed that we grew stronger for a new, more momentous milestone in our biography.

Thus "Polluks" was born in 1996.

Today "Polluks" has two BATMs, one of which is called "Anatoliy Ponomarev".

"Polluks" is SRTM-K "Nikolay Solodchuk" and 10 MRSs.

"Polluks" means a network of coastal enterprises: fish processing works in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Village Palana; it means stationary nets in Ust-Kamchatsky, Karaginsky and Ust-Bolsheretsky Districts; it means fisheries from Cape Olyutorsky to Cape Navarin.

"Polluks" is a program for social and economic renaissance of Village Lesnaya in the Koryak Autonomous Okrug.
